Pedro and Cécile
Pedro Ochoa and Cécile Boucris live in Buenos Aires. Trained in the tradition of Argentine Tango, in 2012 they decided to share their paths and their professional experiences.
Their dance is characterized by its elegance, musical precision and deep listening within the couple, both in improvisation in choreography.
Both are fluent in French, English and Spanish.
They are not only dancers but also musicians and they regularly present their songs show.
OCHOA PEDRO. Winner of the Tango Salon Championship of the city of Buenos Aires in 2011. He has performed in the main milongas including La Viruta, Sunderland, La Baldosa, Club Gricel, Villa Malcolm, Salón Canning, Torquato Tasso, Niño Bien, Confitería Ideal, La Nacional, Glorias Argentinas, club Pedro Echague. He also danced at Luna Park, Teatro Coliseo, Centro Cultural Borges, La Casona del Teatro, Claridge Hotel and several "casas de tango" as Sabor a Tango, Homero Manzi, Café Tortoni, Los billares 36. As a teacher and tango dancer, he visited Canada, Brazil, Uruguay, France, Alemagne, Ireland, Italy, Spain and New Zealand. He received the first prize in the competition organized by the Confitería Ideal (Milonga category, July 2006) and Hugo del Carril in Certamen (category Tango Fantasía, December 2008). He was a finalist of the World Championship of Tango Salon in August 2009.
CECILE Boucris. Tango dancer, she has a background in classical and contemporary dance. She has performed throughout Europe (France, Italy, Russia, Alemagne, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg) and several milongas of Buenos Aires.
She has danced adn toured in tango shows in France: Cabaret Tango, A Cannebière, Otoño porteño. In collaboration with the company Modos Vivendi, she created the Trio Ensueño that develops a research in the fusion of tango and contemporary dance. Together, they performed in milongas and create the show "En tus brazos". As a teacher of tango, she taught in Buenos Aires and throughout Europe. In 2007, she founded her own school, Tango Primavera. It is also Gyrotonic instructor.
